The truth is that the only thing holding us back is ourselves. That’s a scary thing to admit because it forces us to take accountability for where we’re at. But it’s also freeing because it allows us to take back the power to create the change we’ve always wanted.
When it comes to facing your own insecurities, here are a couple of things you might want to consider.
Last weekend, Jer and I were talking and he brought up a person we both know. Not in a gossipy way, but complimentary. During our conversation, I said, “Yeah, but he’s insecure, just like the rest of us.” Then Jer said, “I don’t get it, what does he have to be insecure about?” I agreed and then said, “You know, someone probably says the same thing about you.”
Am I right? Someone probably says the same thing about YOU!

We’re all on our own special journey. We all have unique beginnings and go at our own pace. We owe it to ourselves to be okay with where we’re at right now.
Here’s a quick exercise to try the next time you’re feeling insecure.
